Description In our work, we have tried to provide the view to the Czech cinematography of 50s. We have focused on the recognition and the following explanation of the schematic signs of a socialistic art, which resonated in movies at that time and was present in a everyday life, too. For the illustration, we have chosen the movie, what we may see on TV screens up to this day, so we believe it is know by the most of readers. "Dovolená s Andělem" was the comedy, which is able to amuse the audience by its great humour performed by the actors Jaroslav Marvan and Josef Kemr, although it was full of socialistic allusions. We should not to forget the director of this movie Bořivoj Zeman, who was able to breathe a soul to every of his movie (including the socialistic ones).
