Description The shortened version of the analysis of Czech syntactic descriptions by Karlík & Panevová (2012): Two-Level Valency Syntax (by F. Daneš) and Functional Generative Grammar (by P. Sgall) form the main paradigms of the Czech syntax since 1960. Both theories incorporate the results of the classical Praguian functional approach as well as results of the first period of the generative paradigm.
