Description The autor of the present contribution investigates the notion „new philology“, as it is being constituted, for example, in the work of A. Korablev as well as the terms „power in literature“ and „power in literary criticism“ on the example of the Czechoslovak/Czech/Russian reception of 1968 and the whole process of the so-called Prague Spring at the background of B. Palkovský‘s s book Towards the Soviet Civiliyation (1936) accentuating the preference role of the language and its textual product and “new philology” as a wide concept of the traditional philology enriched by new disciplinary transcendences.
