Description | The French Theatre Week (27th October to 4th November). During this festival three theatre studios were realized - the first one was dedicated to the teachers of French and directed by the students of the Department of French Language and Literature, the second one was destined to the Department of French Language and Literature students and the teachers of French and was directed by Henri Noubel, the third one was designated for all active participants of the festival and directed by professional clown Alexander Stankov. Students of the Department of French Language and Literature then performed three theatre plays: A la gare, Bertha of the Big foot and Who is Brigitte? The Albatros company from Pernes-les-Fontaines performed the play Knox by Jules Romains. The students also led as a guides the excursions in Brno, Třebíč and in the Rajhrad monastery. The festival was accompanied by the lecture of Tomasz Kaczmarek (the professor in the Lódz university, translator and theatre writer) about current Polish theatre. |
