| Description | Corporate competitiveness has been for decades an attention attracting phenomenon. In spite of this fact this publication aims to deepen its understanding. On a first place and as a first contribution it brings the operationalization of the competitiveness. However, the cardinal contribution is an application of sequential forward flow search algorithm together with the k nearest neighbors classifier. Their joint use achieved a reduction of potential competitiveness factors to the most informative ones, e. g. to those, which can in combination best discriminate between the less competitive and more competitive companies. Furthermore, the publication contains preliminary results of the research, which means that it identifies likely competitiveness factors. All experiments were carried out over en extensive data base coming from an empirical survey. |
