Description The aim of this article is to describe the size effect on the export behavior and export performance. Company size is one of the most commonly reported characteristics of company that has, according to most studies, positive influence on the decision to start exporting and subsequently achieved export performance. Despite the great attention paid to company size, it is possible to find out studies that do not confirm the positive influence of the size. Different findings may be explained by differences in research methodology.
