Description The Prague Quadrennial is the biggest international competitive display of scenography, theatre architecture and technologies, and has been held in Prague every four years since 1967. The most recent PQ took place in 2011. The event changed its name from the Prague Quadrennial of Scenography and Theatre Architecture to the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space, suggesting a shift in its conception. The article discusses what the most recent PQ tells us about contemporary scenography.
