| Description | The study deals with left-wing youth organizations which, following the establishment of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, became involved in anti-Nazi resistance activities. Focusing particularly on the territory of Moravia, it analyzes in detail the activities of Národní hnutí pracující mládeže (National Movement of Working Youth), Komunistický svaz mladé generace (Communist Union of the Young Generation) and Hnutí slovanské domoviny (Movement of the Slavonic Homeland). Based on his research of archival sources and relevant published works, the author analyzes the circumstances under which the three resistance organizations were established between 1939 and 1941 and the influence of the illegal Czechoslovak Communist Party on their activities. |
