Description The Sb-Sn-Zn alloys were remelted from pure metals. Alloy samples were analyzed by DTA method inside Netzsch STA 409 calorimeter. The experimental alloys after DTA treatment were equilibrated at temperatures 200dgC, 250dgC, and 350dgC. The samples were investigated by means of electron microscopy. The chemical compositions of the coexisting phases were detected by EDX analysis. The CALPHAD method was used for a prediction of Sb-Sn-Zn phase diagram including the isothermal and iso-concentration cross-sections. For assessment was used Parrot module of Thermocalc software. A main result of this work is thermodynamic assessment of the liquid phase and Sb2SnZn ternary intermetallic phase in accordance with CALPHAD method.
