| Description | The Orthography of Václav Klejchs Evangelical Hymn Book is a well representative piece of Czech exile hymn book production. The language it uses can be characterized as standard Czech of the middle period and follows the tradition of the language of the Kralice Bible. It`s artistic style corresponds with the mentioned Bible, too. The hymn book is written in the Bohemian Brethren orthography which combines principles of the diacritical and the older digraphic orthographies. |
