| Description | The lecture gives a general account of the Cognitive Science of Religion, its history and theoretical foundations. It also provides a general overview of three established research strands: 1) evolutionary theorizing; 2) application of cognitive theories to the study of religious phneomena; 3) experimental study of religion, with a special focus on the latter, and gives a more detailed account of some experiments done by the Laboratory for the Experimental research of Religion. |
