| Description | The contribution deals with a nebulous category of interjections in Russian linguistics. The history of development of various approaches to classifications of interjections is described along with reasons for plurality of opinions of Russian linguists. Despite the plurality of view of interjections belonging to parts of speech the classification of interjections with the names of linguists supporting those theories are presented as well. |
