Description | This paper presents some basic principles and methods used when dealing with survival data and developing new results. All processes are illustrated by an example of developing a new approach to parametric regression in survival analysis. Some techniques how to choose the most adequate probability distribution of the data are mentioned. The distributions are transformed in order to get more accurately results. The results are compared with the standard ones according to Akaike‘s information criterion. |
