Description | Combination of capillary electrophoresis (CE) and mass spectrometry (MS) provides advantages characteristic for CE as fast separation, small sample consumption, low waste production together with MS advantages as sensitive detection of a wide substance range and their identification. CE also offers possibility to use inner space of capillary as microreactor. In this study incubation reaction was took place inside the capillary followed by an electrophoretic separation in the capillary and detection by MS. Mixing of reaction components was based on diffusion. Method was used for kinetic measurements of enzymatic reaction. Enzymatic system consisted of cytochrome P450 isoform 2C9 and model substrate diclofenac. |
