Description Dov Nir tried to quantify the rate of anthropogenic impact on relief by “Index of potential anthropic geomorphology” (I). The calculation includes „the degree of development“ (DD) and „the degree of perception“ (DP) which are expressed by „percentage of urban population“ (UP) and „percentage of illiteracy“ (DI). The constant Kc for the climate and the constant Kr for the relief involve physical geographic conditions into the calculation. There were compared calculations of Nir's index from the year 1977 and new calculations from years 2005 – 2011. It shows a decrease of countries in the category 0,50< I <0,79, which means the hazard represents considerable damage and powerful measures are urgently required. Most countries including the Czech Republic remain in the category 0,30< I <0,49, where the hazard is not insignificant and some erosion control is needed.
