| Description | The conference "City and Home" has been opened by the lecture "At home in the city: domestic urbanism and urban domesticities" by prof. Alison Blunt (Durham University). In the following days, over forty scientists presented their papers in two parallel sessions covering the topics and problems from the area of urban studies, housing research, sociology, social and human geography, anthropology and other social scientific disciplines and sub-fields. On the last day of the conference, the participants attended an excursion with the expert commentary on the interbellum architecture of the city of Brno. |
