| Description | The textbook provides a complex view of the philological area studies from the perspective of their philosophical presumptions, history, structure, typology, heterogeneity and various conceptions, particularly the conception which have developed in Brno since the mid-1990s, as well as relations to other disciplines (genology, comparative philology, dialogue of cultures, "new philology"). The textbook also includes several case studies, a study on the area of Central Europe and the role of the Slavs within its framework, a vocabulary of frequently used terms and an extensive list of selected literature. |
