Description In the chapter author focuses on the so called digital dementia and tries to show the possible connection between the contemporary tendency towards a total visualisation and the unequal development of brain hemispheres. The reduction of the visualised texts to their simple denotative meaning is seen as a result of the total visualisation, as one of possible causes of digital dementia. Conclusion: telling (fairy) stories and reading books instead of excessive use of visual digital media can make a relevant contribution to a reduction of digital dementia.
