Description | Increased human impact on the natural environment is one of the main factors that influence the growth of the impact of natural hazards on human society. Man-made landforms are formed as consequences of human activity, which affect the course of nature processes on global and local level. The object of this study is the application of geomorphologic methods to the Leskava Stream catchment and the Lačnovský Stream catchment. Model areas are selected in different types of landscapes in terms of land use and natural characteristics. Morphometric and morphogenetic analysis and man-made landforms inventory are performed on the basis of field research in small chatchment of urban watercourses. This study is identified degradated areas whose spatial extent corresponds with the level of the flooding. |
