Citation
Description Negative concord (also "double negation") in Old Czech differs from contemporaray Czech use in some ways. Older researchers considered possible expressing negation in Old Czech without the means of negative concord, similarly to Latin or standard varieties of Germanic languages. Using material of 14th century Czech texts, I will show that most of the (cited) instances can be classified as negative concord, and therefore make some corrections to the opinion on this topic.
