| Description | One of the ways how to create good films in the system of control in Romania during the era of Nicolae Ceausescu was to adapt works of national literature. The article is focused on two examples: Stone Wedding - the famous debut of Mircea Veroiu and Dan Pita, and Among the Hills - not well known directorial debut of Nicolae Breban, the writer, made after his own novel Sick Animals. |
