Description The aim of the investigation was to describe the levels observed in addition to the motivational component of self-learning also clarify the extent of their interdependencies and determine causation that may affect self-regulated learning. It means finding age differences in the level of motivation, differences by gender, field of study; year and the current degree of success. Finally, we investigated how students perceive their current school performance as satisfied with this success and what according to them, most often decides the degree of failure. Reflections on self-learning and circumstances that affect it, can be seen as a stimulus to the structuring of school learning and modification of training students in helping professions.
