Citation
Description The author explains the processes that accompanied the dramatic period of changes prior and during the publication of two new civil codes that became then fundamental legal standards of the Austrian state. Their roots are visible both in the contemporary Bohemian law and in the current civil law in Austria. The paper focuses on an analysis of the new state approach to the subjects, their duties and rights, and on the perception of the new situation by "the people".
