| Description | Prof. em. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Norbert Richard Wolf celebrated in 2013 his 70th jubilee. The article presents a survey of his scientific and teaching activities both in Germany as well as in the Czech Republic because N.R. Wolf´s work influenced a whole new generation of Germanists in this country. The article refers especially to his publications in history of German language, syntax and text linguistic, as well as his immense efort to establish the corpus linguistics as a modern method of linguistic research. |
