Description The utilization of the capillary electrophoresis (CE) for study of binding between bovine serum albumin (BSA) and salicylic acid (SA) was investigated. The optimized method was created and used to determine the binding and thermodynamic parameters of BSA-SA. The binding curves obtained by nonlinear regression analysis. Furthermore, the influence of the temperature on the binding constant was examined. Van’t Hoff plots showed a correlation between value of the binding constant and the sign and magnitude of various thermodynamic parameters (?G, ?S, and/or ?H).
