Description | The author of the present article analyses the impact of Russian literature on the work of T. G. Masaryk, his relation to literature in general and Russian literature in particular and the so-called literariness of the Russian revolution. He demonstrates that Russian literature influenced in a similar way on the work of several other Czech intellectuals, of different ideological orientation, among others Karel Čapek, Jaroslav Durych a Václav Černý. |
