| Description | The textbook does not attempt to give a complete overview of the editions of our diplomatic materials of the Middle Ages. The main attention is paid to the basic territorial editions, among which the Český diplomatář has a prominent role. Each topic is treated in an individual chapter, where a concise history of the edition series is presented and, in some cases, the published material is overviewed. This part is followed by a brief professional characteristics of the editors and sometimes also by their biographical data. At the end of each chapter, the most common abbreviation(s) of the given edition and an overview of the published volumes are presented. |
