| Description | In this paper we present a summary of the results of several research studies on correlates and predictors of hope in various samples of the Czech population. The results show that hope in the sense of hopeful thinking (cognitive model of hope by R. Snyder) is closely related to higher life satisfaction, the meaningfulness of life, subjective health and other aspects of quality of life in childhood, adulthood and old age. |
