| Description | The collection of letters known as Formularius epistolarum cum exposicione rhetoricali, which is related to the part of medieval rhetoric called ars dictaminis, contains various private and public letters. In this paper, chosen specimens from this collection are analysed based on the contemporary handbook. The paper focuses on using of the theoretic rules in practise, especially the rules related to parts of letter. Analysing these letters, the aim is to find out which parts letters are composed of whether each letter contains all five parts of letter or whether some part is missing and if yes, which and how often. |
