Description | In this paper we address Czech FCIs. We build on Aloni's formal treatment of their behaviour, which itself is an extension of Kadmon & Landman's seminal work. Our own contribution to the FCI debate consists of a new analysis of UCCs and generic sentences which moreover adds some empirical support to Aloni's treatment of imperatives and existential modals. |
