Description Akinetopsie, also known as cerebral akinetopsia or motion blindless, is extremly rare and incurable neropsychological brain injury. This injury is manifested as a selective loss of motion perception. A man who have this injury can't see movement. The most likely localization of akinetopsia is the visual cortext area V5. This is confirmed by many experiments. The most famous and the best stuied case history is the case of Mrs. L.M.
