Description | This presentation deals with study of usability of 3D maps and other 3D visualizations of spatial data. Literature review of present situation in this field has been done. There was a need to further study of interactive 3D visualization on the basis of this review. Pilot version of testing tool, that records user interaction during manipulation with 3D visualization, movement and data about solving given tasks, was designed and tested from this reason. Records captured by proposed testing tool contain both quantitative and qualitative data. These records can be visualized or further analysed. Results of some analysis and visualization are also presented in this paper. Advantages, limits, future possibilities of proposed testing tool and whole research are discussed in conclusion. |
