Description Law and economics are disciplines that are studied mainly in isolation. However, they are interconnected, because they have a common research subject or regulating-human behavior. Not surprisingly, therefore, that the legal norms and institutions affect the economy and economy affects the legal system. Englishman John Stuart Mill (1806-1873) said that those who would ignore the law, does not penetrate into political economy, and who will overlook the political economy will not be able to trace the sense of law. The intent of this paper is to present an economic analysis of law as one of the methods of legal interpretation and application which criteria are the costs and benefits and show that law and economics are much more common than people usually think.
