Description | Human individuals are born to the world as organisms possessing a variety of genetically predisposed limits, and yet are endowed with a great potential of development. Undoubtedly, one of the key components of this process is child rearing. Child rearing, or parenting, is a complex, intricate matter, encompassing many different forms, means, methods, and practices. The parenting process involves the interaction and communication of the parent and the child in which personalities both transform and develop. For this and other reasons, family–based parenting remains one of the most discussed issues in both everyday and professional contexts. |
