| Description | The 1st international conference of Japanese Studies "Iaponica Brunensia 2015" presented 14 papers by 14 scholars of Japanese Studies and anthropology, who came from the Czech republic, Slovakia, Slovenia and the United States of America. The topic of the conference was "Japan as Text" and the papers presented covered such areas of Japanese Studies as Japanese linguistics, Japanese literature, Japanese history and religions, Japanese theatre etc. The keynote speaker was Seiichi Makino (professor emeritus) of the Princeton University. |
