Description The paper introduces a doctoral research project concerned with deaf learners’ reading in English as their foreign language. The research adopts a qualitative approach and constitutes a multiple case studies design with each learner representing an individual case. The data collection methods include interviews and written verbalization. The data obtained will be analysed using open coding qualitative analysis.
