Description | Psychotherapy competencies reflect the demand on professional accountability and evidence-based practice in psychotherapy field in general. Competency-based approach might inform psychotherapy training usefully in many ways. Particularly integrative trainings can benefit from competency-based approach which br ings comprehensible focus within the breadth of psychotherapy integration for both trainees and trainers. The paper introduces the process of building of Competency model of psychotherapy training which was developed within the Training in psychotherapy integration and describes the Competency model as a tool for educational and evaluative purposes in integrative training. |
