| Description | The presentation focused on urban images depicted in the novel Elephant´s Memory (1979) by António Lobo Antunes. Analysis is based on two representational modes which can be defined as “real city” (images of “visible” city, situated in the postcolonial era) and “imaginary city” (images of city, read as a patchwork of myths and various types of discourse). |
