| Description | The author of the present article deals with the so-called autochthonous and allochthonous in his work and poetological construction of his prose. The autochthonous roots are linked with Polish-Russian-Ukrainian literary background (Narezhny, Bulgarin), the allochthonous with the English 18th-century novel, English sentimentalism, Gothic novel, French roman frénétique/noir and German Schauerroman. |
