| Description | This study brings an epigraphic collection of 9 bells (only one surviving bell) from the 18th to 20th century, located in the past or present in the St. Wenceslaus churches in the village of Bítov, the district of Znojmo. Following catalogue contains descriptions of the individual bells and informations about their history. It also includes a proper transliteration of the inscriptions and a critical commentary. A final part of the research deals with the summary of all the pieces of knowledge and their mutual comparison. The supplement of the historical map from the 19th century and one photo is closing the presented article. |
