Description The study analyzes the level and state of research of the countryside and its inhabitants in the early modern Moravia in the last 25 years. The assets of the last quarter-century of research included emerging interdisciplinary collaboration especially between history, ethnology and archeology, and the increased interest in comparison to earlier periods of study of rations of the 17th and 18th centuries; to down sides of the research can be counted the absence of synthesis that would comprehensively affected the country in the early modern Moravia, respectively in all the Czech lands.
