Description | The UNESCO Chair at the Masaryk University in connection with key UNESCO documents and strategies currently undergoes a significant transformation. Its activity is being considerably extended and within this transformation a concept is being prepared of two thematically specialised UNESCO Chairs – the activity of present UNESCO Chair of Museology and World Heritage is being revitalised and an entirely new UNESCO Chair of Intangible Cultural Heritage is being established. Both these UNESCO Chairs thus in mutual cooperation within the Masaryk University offer space for a comprehensive scientific grasp of the problem of protection and preservation of cultural heritage. |
