Description | The paper addresses the hitherto unexplained purposeful lawsuits with significant pre-war art collectors, led between 1959 and 1960. It focuses on the exemplary case of contemporary punishment merchant, connoisseur and collector Jaroslav Borovička (1912-2009), a businessman and patron Vaclav Butty (1888-1968), together with whom he was prosecuted and leading contemporary art historian Emanuel Poche (1903-1987). |
