Description The chapter presents the results of the analysis focused on communication skills and speech intervention for children of Roma ethnicity in the preschool and early school age. The text presents the theoretical knowledge of the language of the Roma, as well as in the field of speech therapy issues, levels of language and development of communication skills. The results of the qualitative part of the survey indicate the manifestations of children of Roma ethnicity within individual language levels, quantitative data represent the opinions of parents, teachers and speech therapists.
