Description | This article is concerned with conditions of the establishment and the development of visual poetry, which, more than ever in history, approximated poetry to fine art. We also focus on the end of visual poetry (or more precisely – its merging with conceptual art). Using the work of Vladimír Burda as a model we will highlight the key moments in 1960s poetry which emerged as a consequence of using anti-mimetic strategies. |
