| Description | The public subsidy to Tourism was one of significant regional development support pillars in the Czech republic in years 2007-2015. The authors in the article focuse on an analysis and a brief evaluation of financial support from Regional Operational Programme NUTS2 South-East (South Moravia and Highlands Region cohesion region) to tourism in its content and regional context in the programing period 2007–2013 on the basis of developed methodology of functional and spatial comparison and evaluation of completed operations. So the aim of this paper is the evaluation of operations according to their functional tourism sort or to their location (in towns, in other municipalities or in tourism centers with regional importance). In conclusion, there are formulated the first identifiable and available impacts of tourism support in the South Moravian Region and the Vysočina Region from the mentioned programme.
