Description | Introduction of the three fuzzy sets within fantastic literature:The fuzzy set of the appearance of realisticity is represented by texts in which authenticity to the actual world creates an essential component in the stories setting, provoking the desired perception of the novels inner world by the readership. The fuzzy set of the evocation of doubt reflects an awareness of the non-obviousness of consensual reality and, in line (but not exclusively so) to postmodern thinking, questions the ability of a human to identify the essence of reality and to distinguish it from illusion. The fuzzy set of expression of inner coherence comprises texts that through the fantastic element – very often through generalization and symbols – comment on serious issues and problems of human beings in actuality. |
