| Description | In the first part of the chapter, relevance value of toponyms is observed from the perspective of the development of the Czech language and the community using them. In the second part of the chapter, toponyms are presented as cultural value responding sensitively to landscape and community metamorphoses in which living toponymy finds its form and makes part of language landscape. In the third part of the chapter, attention is paid to presuppositions of successful research in toponyms. |
