Description The artistic universe of Michel Tremblay is the world full of gathering. It includes the meeting of creative principles in the structural level: the principles which use the intertextual dialogue enabling the theatricality. The theatricality is then elevated to the medium of existential search. The theatre scene becomes the tool of anagnorisis, the self-identification in the gathering with the other as a spectator, and the costume becomes an identitary attribute. The illusion and the reality then gather in the theatre scene where the Quebec dramaturge uses the principles of the theatre. The actor tries to reach the blurring of illusion and reality in the frame of the performance. In the same time, theatricality touches the reality as well, when the other becomes spectator which judges the individual and imposes on him certain social roles. These two poles of gathering and specific theatralicity we try to show on the cases of two plays of Michel Tremblay, Hosanna and Albertine in five times.
