| Description | The event was organized for students of the degree programme Czech Language with the focus on Computational Linguistics, to whom colleagues from the Faculty of Information Technology, Brno University of Technology presented results of their work in the field of automatic detection of speech and extracting information from speech. Students were given the opportunity to use in practice some tools and techniques used in this sphere, thus enhancing their knowledge acquired during their study of Czech Language with the focus on Computational Linguistics at the Faculty of Arts and at the Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University. Organizing the workshop has contributed to develop contacts and to establish a close cooperation between thematically similar degree programmes at the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University and at the Brno University of Technology. |
